Description: We will use techniques and theory derived from the training and experience of the leader and other members in non-professional peer-to-peer counseling, or "co-counseling", where people take turns being "client" and "counselor" for equal amounts of time, usually by dividing the time available in one meeting. You can be an excellent co-counselor if you can simply pay silent, loving attention to another person - nothing else is required. But we will also learn techniques you can use both as counselor and client to get the most out of your experience. We will discuss the spiritual aspects of counseling, as well as having purely social meetings and service projects.
Meeting Times: Two evenings per month (not Thursdays) by group arrangement, 7-9pm, in North Boulder
