Mission and Service:

Boulder Mennonite is a church with several missions. Approximately 15% of our annual budget goes toward supporting the organizations listed on the top of this page in Boulder County and the World. In addition, members of BMC support all of these organizations with our time.

The Mennonite church emphasizes service to others as an important way of expressing one's faith. A  disproportionately large number of Mennonites spend part of their lives working as missionaries or volunteers helping those in need, nationally or internationally, through agencies such as Mennonite Board of Missions or Mennonite Central Committee.

As disciples of Jesus, Mennonites try to live under Christ's rule. For many this means loving the enemy and refusing to use violence or participate in military service, living peaceably with others at all levels, serving the poor and needy, and taking risks to work actively for justice and mercy.
