Boulder Homeless Shelter

The second Friday of each month finds a crew of folks from Boulder Mennonite cooking dinner for the residents of the Homeless Shelter. In the winter, the Boulder Mennonite building serves as overflow space for the homeless, staffed by BMC members.

The shelter has 68 beds which are typically full, especially during bad weather.  The shelter is open from October  through April.

In addition, they have a transitional program specifically designed to get people off the streets.  In the last three  years, 150 people have been transitioned back into jobs and traditional housing.
